Project Overview
This was my first freelance project where I was hired to design a website from zero, working with a team of psychologists who have created a school together. The website is meant to be informative, where they explain their school of thought, their personal backgrounds, and their collective work. They asked that the website have a sober tone, with the logo and color already decided. I listened and worked with them to create a simple website that would be accessible to all potential patients
Challenges
I encountered many challenges while working on this project. I worked alone and taught myself many skill with the advice of some experts in their fields. Working in Wordpress for the first time, I experimented a lot with HTML and CSS in order to achieve the specific Figma design I had originally made for my client. Through a lot of trial and error, I finally decided to simplify the design so that it would be easier to convey it on Wordpress. Through this project, I understood more of the importance of what it takes to code high-fidelity designs into real, functioning websites and apps.
